Dutch Baby Pancakes
Dutch Baby Pancakes!
These are a fluffy and tasty delight that can be made in less that 30 minutes!! Want to impress your family and friends? I will show you how!! I used an iron skillet, but if you don't have one its ok...use your favorite baking dish. (Baking time will vary)
Ingredients:
2 beaten eggs
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup sifted flour
1/2 tsp cinnamon
pinch of salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbs butter
2 tbs powdered sugar
fruit of choice, syrup, if desired
Place your skillet or dish in the oven and preheat to 475 F. In a mixing bowl add your beaten eggs, milk, vanilla and stir. In a separate bowl combine all the dry ingredients. Gradually add flour mixture to the wet ingredients.
Carefully remove skillet from the oven and add the butter, return to oven to melt. Make sure skillet is evenly coated with the melted butter. Pour all the batter in the skillet or dish and bake between 12-20 minutes until fluffy and golden brown. Baking times may very, keep a close eye! Remove from oven and sprinkle with powdered sugar and desired fruit. Or use your favorite syrup!!!
